FALL FESTIVAL THIS FRIDAY FROM 5:00 UNTIL 7:00.

Tuesday, October 15, 2013

DON'T FORGET REPORT CARD CONFERENCES TONIGHT AND THURSDAY NIGHT, OCTOBER 24.  You must conference to pick up your child's report card.

Thank you for reading and writing in your child's planner about the "new spelling homework format."  Hopefully the extra sentence writing will improve the kids ability to write complete and correct sentences! Remember that the first seven sentences are to be turned in tomorrow for me to check.  I'll return the handwriting paper tomorrow night for the next group of sentences to be written on tomorrow night.

We're working hard on main idea and details, paragraph writing, the skeletal system, two step math word problems, and more!

We are starting on timed subtraction facts this week.  We'll do both + and - timed sheets each week until Christmas.

FALL FESTIVAL--Friday, October 25

Our next field trip will be in November to The Lost Sea--after we've studied about bats!  I haven't told the kids yet!
